She was predeceased by : her parents, Alexander C. "Ace" Goates and Ruth Holt Goates of De Leon, Texas.; her grandparents, Toy, Wilda Holt, Roy and Eulamae Goates; and her uncles, Norman Goates, Louie Goates, James Vinson, Maurice Fields, George Holt of Terry Holt, J. C and Jerry Killebrew.
She is survived by : her siblings, Rodney Goates and Janice Goates of Abilene; her aunts, Maedell Vinson, Diddy Fields, Judy Killebrew, Beulah Holt and Delma Goates; her uncle Toy Wesley Holt; and her close friends, Ali Alsammak, Lenora Hernandez, Alice Perez, Tina Riley and Nellie Lamb. She is also survived by animals especially her beloved dogs and birds.
