She was predeceased by : her parents, Herbert Eugene and Elanor Irby (Johnson); her husband Jimmy Henderson; her son James Mayfield of Wills Point; and her siblings, Bobby, Frank Irby and Hetty Irby.

She is survived by : her granddaughters, Jamie Lee Mayfield of Decatur and Jeana Lynn Mayfield of Hawaii; and her great grandchildren, Julianne Mitchell and Kelsey Graham.
