It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mattie Lou Sermons of Decatur, Texas, who passed away on December 20, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Willie Wesley and Eva Laverne Greer (Stedley); her husband James Sermons; and her son Charles Roberson. She is survived by : her son Chester Roberson (Gail) of Decatur; her granddaughters, Andrea Roberson of Decatur, Lindsey Gildon of Decatur and Christy Wood of Wichita Falls; her great grandchildren, Corbin, Natalie and Selvin; and her siblings, Raymond Greer of Georgia, Rickey Greer of Georgia, Beverly Jernigan, Jenny Mullane and Deborah Tucknies.

The family asked that memorials are be made to the charity of your choice.
