He was predeceased by : his parents, Ralph Oliver and Cleta Jaynes (Ervin); his stepdaughter Christi Ball; and his siblings, Al Jaynes and Pat McQuig.

He is survived by : his wife Connie Jaynes of Decatur; his sons, Richie Jaynes (Cindy) of Austin and Travis Jaynes of Centerville, Tennessee; his stepdaughter Tiffany Crane (Steven) of Decatur; his granddaughters, Whitney McFarland and Kilee Jaynes; his great grandchildren, Reign McFarland and Kru Haven McFarland; and his sisters, Evelyn Keeling and Cathy Hester.
