She was loved and cherished by many people including : her husband Charles Bates; her daughter Susan; her son-in-law Fred Mojaver; her daughter Debi; her son-in-law Gregg Tribble; her daughter Dana; her son-in-law Jeff Welch; her son Charles Jr.; her daughter-in-law Rachael Bates; her parents, Vera Purple and Dana Purple; and her siblings, Charles Purple and Dorthy Releyea. She was also cherished by her 12 grandchildren.
