With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elaine Theresa Richard (Deer Park, Texas), who passed away on December 3, 2021 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her husband David Joseph Richard; and her grandchildren, Christopher "Jake" Richard, Austyn Miller, Vickie Richard and Rene Richard.

She is survived by : her children, David Richard II (Viola), Jade, Joey, Chad Richard (Sherry), William Hopson, Daniel Hopson, Cary Richard (Lisa), Derek, Chase, Shane Richard (Erica), Cody, Nathan, Marissa Hammers, Chance Vecera, Jamie Richard (Brenda), Travis, Amber, Ethan Arnold, Mason Arnold, Milissa Miller (Lee Miller) and Lexee; her sister Shirley Guidry (Marcus Guidry); and her granddaughter Elaine. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family suggest memorial to: Maxwell Adult Center, 1201 Center St., Deer Park, Texas; St. Hyacinth Catholic Church, 2921 Center St., Deer Park, Texas or Interfaith Helping Hands Food Bank at the Deer Park United Methodist Church located at 1300 E. 13th St. Growing old and dying is what gives meaning and beauty to the fleeting span of a human life.
