She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie D. Risher and Dessie Lelia Moles Risher; her husband Leslie Wray; her sisters, Johnnie Lewis and Ruby Roberts; her son-in-law Quincy Bennett; her granddaughter Laura Bounds; and her great grandchildren, Brandi Myers and Dalton Myers.
She is survived by: her children, Bryce Wray (Melissa) of Plano, Texas and Sherry Wray Bennett of Hernando, Mississippi; her grandchildren, Sarah Beck (Brad), Jeff Bennett (Corine) and Jason Bennett (Stacey); her great grandchildren, Jeff Bennett Jr. (Monica), Jesse Bennett, Kennedy Beck and Dylan Beck; her great great grandchildren, Emma Myers, Jaydon Thompson and Karson Thweatt; and her nephews, Steve Proctor and Charles Roberts (Susan). She is also survived by numerous extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bates Family Funeral Home (601 E Front St, De Kalb, TX 75559). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
