He was predeceased by: his parents, Juanita Valdez and Benjamin Valdez. He is survived by: his wife Cecilia Valdez; his stepchildren, Benjamin Valdez (Yanakany) and Roxanne Valdez (Miguel Reyes); his grandchildren, Amanda Valdez, Erin Valdez, Destinie Aguilar, Dezirae Aguilar, Sophia Valdez, Benjamin Valdez Jr. and Mikaela Reyes; and his great grandchildren, Mya, Logan and Elijah Rangel.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, November 10th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the Sunset Memorial (2020 N Bedell Ave, Del Rio, TX 78840). A rosary was held on Sunday, November 9th 2025 from 6:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, November 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church (509 W Garza St, Del Rio, TX 78840).
