He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Isabel, Benito Almaguer, Hermenegilda and Martiniano Cardenas. He is survived by: his wife Lizette Reyes of Del Rio; his daughter Mariah Cardenas of Del Rio; his parents, Elena Cardenas and Arturo Cardenas of Del Rio; his siblings, Arturo Cardenas Jr. (Crystal Cardenas) of Del Rio, Erica Treviño (Jesse James Treviño Sr.) of Del Rio and Luis Almaguer (Shanelle Almaguer) of New Braunfels; and his siblings' children, Yasmine Cardenas, Isabel Treviño, Jesse James Treviño Jr., Angelina Almaguer, Louis Almaguer, Hannay Almaguer, Ethan Almaguer and James Almaguer. He is also survived by many other aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Trinity Mortuary (206 Kings Way, Del Rio, TX 78840). A rosary was held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 10:00 AM.
