It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leopoldo Lugo (Del Rio, Texas), born in Comstock, Texas, who passed away on July 13, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Leopoldo leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Leopoldo may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfredo Lugo and Mercedes Lugo; and his siblings, Alfredo Lugo Jr., Ricardo Lugo, Amalia L. Rodriguez and Carolina L. Tobar.

He is survived by: his wife Eleanor H. Lugo; his children, Daniel Lugo, Clarissa Lugo and Andres Joaquin Lugo; and his brother Macario Lugo. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren.
