He was predeceased by: his parents, Maria Liceaga and Rafael Liceaga; and his brothers, Julio Cesar Liceaga and Gilberto Liceaga. He is survived by: his wife Juanita Liceaga of Del Rio; his children, Lillian Liceaga of Converse, TX, Rafael Liceaga Jr. (Dawn Morales) of San Antonio, TX, Carlos Villalobos of Dallas, TX, Gabriela Lopez (Albert Chavarria) of Del Rio, Brisa Lopez (Baldo Hernandez) of Del Rio, Jose, Zoe Lopez of San Angelo, TX and Georgina Rios of Del Rio; his sisters, Blanca Martinez (Gustavo Martinez) of Del Rio, Martha Elizabeth Liceaga of Sonora, MX and Cecilia Liceaga of Sonora, MX; and his grandchildren, Dominic, Kevin, Aiden, Lucian, Isabella, Sophia Gabriela, Ariana, Luke, Alberto, Baldo, Sarahi, Brandon, Camila, Anthony, Ailany, Jayden, Valeria and Christian. He is also survived by 5 great grandchildren, and other relatives and close friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Trinity Mortuary (206 Kings Way, Del Rio, TX 78840). A rosary will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church (510 Wernett St, Del Rio, TX 78840). A burial will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Sunset Cemetery (5144 US-90, Del Rio, TX 78840).
