She was predeceased by: her husband Jose Hernandez; her parents, Jose Segovia and Elvira B. Valdez; her stepfather Armando Valdez; her siblings, Armando Segovia and Luz Elena Almaraz; and her brother-in-law Diego M Almaraz.
She is survived by: her daughter LuzElena Hernandez; her brothers, Javier Segovia and Homero Valdez; and her siblings' children, Zobeida Perry (John Perry), Susan Almaraz and Diego M. Almaraz Jr. (Vicky Almaraz). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the Sunset Memorial (2020 N Bedell Ave, Del Rio, TX 78840). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church (509 W Garza St, Del Rio, TX 78840).
