With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jimmie H. Gaunder of Denison, Texas, born in Taos, New Mexico, who passed away on December 20, 2020 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Gaunder and Marina "Martinez" Gaunder; his siblings, David Gaunder, Ann Robinson and Patti Bulls; his son Louie Gaunder; and his granddaughter Hope.
He is survived by: his wife Rose Penn of Colbert, Oklahoma; his children, Kathy Elkouri of Enid, Oklahoma, Tim Gaunder (Bobbie) of Yantis, Texas, Michael Gaunder (Melissa) of Newalla, Oklahoma and Marty Gaunder (Melissa) of Cushing, Oklahoma; and his sister JoAnna Gaunder Stevens. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
