He was predeceased by: his parents, Nelson Lee and Juanita Rae Wright (Harrington); his daughter Brenda Phelps; and his brother Jerry Wright. He is survived by: his wife Ronda Wright; his sons, Rickey Don Wright of Durant and Cory Todd Foster (Mandy) of Denison; his sisters, Morene Phipps (Thomas) of Durant, Shirley Forbis (Gary) of Durant and Joetta Sanders of Durant; and his grandchildren, Shelbi Phelps, Jaron Phelps, Macy Foster and Sophey Don Foster. He is also survived by four great grandchildren.
