He was predeceased by: his parents, John King and Eva King (Gloria King); his wife Gloria King; his brother Max King; and his daughter Debbie Owens.
He is survived by: his children, Gene King (Sherry) and Paula Fair (Kathy); his nephews, Max King (Alice) and Mike King (Bonnie); and his grandchildren, Jonathan Fair (Jenny), Brittany Favara, Kristi Kendall, Alana, Whitney, Mallory, Makenzie and Riley. He is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchild.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 from 9:15 AM to 10:00 AM at the DFW National Cemetery (2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, TX 75211). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the DFW National Cemetery (150 Brown Cliff Ct, Double Oak, TX 75077).
