He was predeceased by : his father Gary Hurst. He is survived by : his mother Jennifer Kay Hurst of Denton, Texas; his son Kasey Hurst of Denton; his stepdaughter Nichole Chenette of Midlothian; and his brothers, Alan Hurst of Alvord, Brian Hurst of Itasca and Gary Hurst of Rosepine, Louisiana. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
