He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred F. Garcia and Lupe Malina Garcia. He is survived by: his wife Mary L. Garcia; his sons, Chris Garcia (Natalie Garcia) of Denton and Ben Garcia of Richland; his grandchildren, Sam Garcia and Macy Garcia; and his siblings, Lynda DuMond, Chrissy Long, Joe Garcia and Gerald Garcia.

Donations can be made to the Catholic Relief Services in memory of Fred.
