She was predeceased by : her parents, Isaac L. Johnson and Jewel Sims Johnson; and her siblings, Woodrow Johnson of Fort Worth, Butch Johnson of Springdale, Ruby Jo Morrow of Denton and Shirley Kraus of Denton.

She is survived by : her husband David McKeown of Denton; her children, Lisa Carter (Shawn) of Denton and Michael McKeown (Shannon) of Sanger; her grandchildren, Catherine, Caitlyn, Caroline Carter and Grace; her son David; and her sister Daphne St. John of Fort Worth. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
