Though Shannon Paul may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.

He was predeceased by : his mother Jean Starr. He is survived by : his father Nelson Starr of Highland Village, Texas; his husband David Morgan Hudson of Denton, Texas; his son Scott Parker Hudson (Taylor Hux) of New Orleans, Louisiana; his stepson Gregory Hall (Haley) of New Orleans, Louisiana; his brother Cole Starr (Amy) of Tyler, Texas; his niece Julia Starr of Tyler, Texas; and his nephew Spencer Starr of Tyler, Texas. He is also survived by extended family, wonderful friends.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Garden Ridge Church of Christ (102 N Garden Ridge Blvd, Lewisville, TX 75067).
