She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman E. Carter and Iva D Porter Carter; her siblings, Billy Carter, Gene Carter, Donald Carter, Kenny Carter, Terry Carter, Betty Carter and Janice Carter; and her granddaughters, Jessica Jo Gatlin and Chelsea Jean-Anne Stroud.
She is survived by: her children, Tommy Glen Gatlin of Odessa, TX, Vickie Degwen Gatlin of Longview, TX, Charlotte Faye Stroud (Glen Stroud) of Denver City, TX, Roni Jean Machado of Lubbock, TX and Jamie Michelle Wright (Flint Wright) of Cottonwood, AZ.; her grandchildren, Shawna Blevins, Jennifer Pemberton, Brandon Machado, Zachary Stroud, Jacob Stroud (Janee Stroud), Jessica Morales and Janessa Morales; and her sister-in-law Linda Carter. She is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Ratliff Funeral Home (303 E Broadway St, Denver City, TX 79323).
