She was predeceased by : her brothers, Archie Lumpkin and Kenneth Lumpkin. She is survived by : her parents, Hubert Lumpkin and Neada Gillian Lumpkin; her husband Elmer Butler; her children, David Butler (Lori) of Denver City and Kay Ellis (Phillip) of Seagraves; and her siblings, Robert Lumpkin (Debra) of Coleman, John T. Lumpkin (Susan) of Comanche, Elsie Edwards of Powers, Edith Rimmer (Ron) of Powers and Dorothy Durbin (John) of Wewoka, Oklahoma. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, twenty-three great-grandchildren and twenty great-great-grandchildren.
