With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Shanna Lynn Holland Lewis of Desdemona, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 19, 2025 at the age of 52. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Shanna Lynn Holland leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Shanna Lynn Holland may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She is survived by: her parents, Clifford Holland and Galyna Holland; her husband Brutus Lewis; her daughters, Madilyn Brooke Lewis and Anyssa Klaire Lewis; and her sisters, Kayla McCoy (Shane) and Kristin Matteson (Heath). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and other extended family.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Nowlin Anders Funeral Home (340 S Austin St, De Leon, TX 76444). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Desdemona First Baptist Church (122 Co Rd 504, Desdemona, TX 76445).
