It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Loleta Ann Banks (Desoto, Texas), who passed away on April 13, 2023, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. L. C. Smith and Mattie Smith; her brother Lawrence C. Smith; and her grandchildren, Caire Cotton and Amaria Banks.
She is survived by: her husband Carlos Banks; her children, Nilsa Banks, Cedrick (Sherrill), Corwin (Tasha) and Coby Cotton (Kiara); her siblings, Ray Smith, Rev. Larry Smith Sr. (Faye), Elvin Smith, Gale Thompson (Theodore) and Billie Peterson (Elvin); and her caregiver Wanda Graves. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, nine (9) great grandchildren, a very special friend.
