He is survived by: his parents, Walter Dailey, Sr. and Alene Dailey; his wife Sharon; his sons, Jonathan Dailey (Karolyn) and Jordan Dailey; his siblings, Warrenetta Marie Packard of Wadsdworth, Scott Allen Dailey of Genoa, WI and Reed Murrell of New Orleans, LA; his mother-in-law Willie Ruth Crosby of Jackson, MS; his siblings-in-law, Rachel Roberts of Desoto, TX, Anthony Crosby of Jackson, MS and Bernard Crosby (Gaye) of Dallas, TX; his siblings' children, Faith Derrick of Atlanta, GA, Jessica Murrell of Dallas, TX, Bianca Murrell of Houston, TX, Jeremy Frison of Wadsworth, IL, Brandon Crosby of Fort Worth, TX, Antoine Dailey, Preston Dailey of Genoa, WI, Christopher Cheeks of Austin, TX, Quentin Murrell of Waxahachie, TX and Austin Roberts of Desoto, TX; his goddaughters, Staci Hamilton of Grand Prairie, TX, Kymberly Johnson of Dallas, TX, Rutha Smith and Patricia Rancifer of Jackson, MS; and his close friend Frenchy. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.

“Walter and i were childhood friends and in hindsight which always seems to be clearer. I truly wish i had stayed connected with him. I remember many wonderful life experiences with walter, such as our backyard football games where walter and i would see who the “true” runner in the group was. I also remember many times being at his family’s home when i really didn’t have much of one. Take care walter, you were a good person early in life, and i truly feel it was my loss not to continue our earl”
