It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Angelita M. Mejia of D'Hanis, Texas, born in San Antonio, Texas, who passed away on April 20, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Sara Mejia and Ernesto Mejia; her husband Eusebio G. Tapia; her children, Joann Tapia, Manuela Casarez and Ysidro Casarez; and her siblings, Estella Mejia, Raul Mejia and Richard Mejia.

She is survived by : her children, Ruben Campos (Pamela), Joe Anthony Tapia (Jerika), Robert Tapia (Valerie Villa), Ernest Tapia (Ana), Giovanni Tapia (Crystal), Miguel Mejia, Rosario Elizondo (Larry), Angelita Sauceda (Victor), Mary Lira (late Concepcion), Debra Tapia, Estella Alejandro (Ale) and Darlynn Mejia; and her siblings, Beatrice Herrera, Sylvia Silva, Ernest Mejia, Jr., Andres Rodriguez, Paul Mejia, Domingo Rodriguez and Henry Mejia. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
