He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Wynona Evelyn Joplin (Dixon) of Lubbock and Bobby Wayne Joplin; his wife Mitzi Taylor; his sons, Stormy Joplin (Lyndie) of Lubbock and Dusty Joplin (Robyn) of Levelland; his grandchildren, Savannah and Jordan Joplin; his nephew Wes Joplin (Say) of Spur; his niece Jenna Phillips (Justin) of Dumas; his brothers, Anthony and Barry Joplin; and his niece Ashley Usery. He was also cherished by his family, all animals and supported the Haven Animal.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions in Marty's memory and honor be directed to the Haven Animal Care Shelter, 4501 FM 1729, Lubbock, TX 79403.
