He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Anderson Childress; his sons, Brian Keith Childress (Tisha) of New Braunsfel and Chad Eric Childress of Hitchcock; his sister Margie McCumber (Mike) of League City; his siblings-in-law, Carol Smith of Dripping Springs, Mike Anderson (Sandy) of Alvin and Shirley Anderson of Norman, OK; his nephews, Donald John and Steven Gene Childress; and his pet Sugar. He is also survived by his wife of 58 years, his family and many friends.
