She was predeceased by : her former life partner Robert Weyer, Jr. (Bobby) of League City; her husband Andrew Benzaia, Sr.; and her siblings, Florence Raitano and Donald Madden. She is survived by : her siblings, Mary Byrd, Judy Tilitzki, Mickey Madden and Melvin Madden (Sarah); her children, Janell Grassmuck (Michael), Vickie Brown (Larry), Susan Ratton, Dale Weyer (Jara), Andrew Benzaia, Jr., Jim Benzaia and Tom Benzaia (Barbara); her grandchildren, James Grassmuck (Melissa), Richard Grassmuck (Michelle), Justin Weyer, Caitlin Akan, Beth Hickman (Paul), Benny Brown (Katie), Lauren Brown, Rob Apap, Damon Benzaia (Melissa), Brittany Shita (Ari), Anthony Benzaia (Paige), Bailey Buchanan (Clint), Christopher Ratton and Megan Ratton; and her great grandchildren, Kyle Grassmuck, Shelby Grassmuck, Teagan Taylor, AnneMarie Hickman, Noah Hickman, Alice Buchanan, Miller Buchanan, Claire Benzaia and Max Benzaia.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 22nd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Crowder Funeral Home (851 Farm to Market 517 Rd W, Dickinson, TX 77539). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 23rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
As part of the Women of Faith Craft Group, she made many quilts that were donated for their annual raffle as well as table runners, place mats and anything else that she had a pattern for.
