It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Juliet Philomena Delcambre Cowan of Dickinson, Texas, born in Jeanerette, Louisiana, who passed away on January 23, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Lionel Delcambre and Juliet Bourgeois; her brother Lionel Delcambre; her son Lionel Cowan; and her grandson Brandon.

She is survived by : her spouse Finis Ewing Cowan, Jr.; her children, Eleanor Brown (Gary), Kathleen Shanfield (Stewart), Virginia Cowan, Finis E. Cowan III (Lori) and Tom Cowan (Allison); her grandchildren, Luke Manion, Julianna Terry (Danny), Christina Cody, Deena Kochvar (Billy), Nick Brown (Alena), Matt Shanfield (Natalie), Sarah Shanfield, Rebecca Shanfield, Rosemary Cubbage (Ben), Grace Padua (Preston) and William Cowan (Gabriel); her great grandchildren, Dylan Bertolino-Cody (Haley), Phoebe Cubbage, Claire Shanfield, Emma Shanfield, Wyatt Shanfield, Evelyn Padua, Hayden Brown, Landon Brown, Ethan Brown, Sierra Kochvar, Riley Terry and Zoe Terry; and her great great grandchild Naomi Bertolino-Cody. She is also survived by numerous relatives and friends.

As a memorial to her memory, in lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent in Juliet's name to St. Vincent De Paul (SVDP) through Shrine of the True Cross Church, P.O. Box 687, Dickinson, Texas 77539.
