He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Hughes and Jeanie Hughes. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Jo Owen; and his sons, Gary Hughes (Rhonda) of Bonham, TX, Greg Hughes (Kathy) of Bonham, TX and Steven Hughes (Delicia) of Bonham, TX. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and one on the way, extended family.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Willow Wild Cemetery (1220 W 7th St, Bonham, TX 75418).
