She was predeceased by : her parents, Ralph Ludden and Ethel Ludden (Martin); her husband Edward Wheeler; her siblings, Doris Illig, Rosemary Britton and Allen Ludden; her sons, Timothy Decker and Robert Decker; and her son-in-law David O'Dell.

She is survived by : her children, Laura Schmidt (Randy), Maureen Parmenter and Daniel Parmenter (Patti); her daughter-in-law Marjorie Decker; and her sister Carolyn Jackson. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren.
