She was loved and cherished by many people including : her spouse Solon McCown (Sonny); her children, Laura McCown Richey (Vanessa Richey) of Buda, Kim McCown Johnson (Richard Johnson) of Dripping Springs and Damon McCown of Dripping Springs; her grandchildren, Janna Harrell Abloogalook, Brittney Johnson Kish, Taralyn Johnson Vega, Alissa Johnson McCoy and Kiernan McCown; and her great grandchildren, Kaiden, Elrick, Sigurd Bruhn, Brimmer Vega and Ava McGlothlin.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Harrell Funeral Home - Dripping Springs (100 Heritage Oaks Dr, Austin, TX 78737). A graveside service was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Phillips Cemetery (26001 Ranch Rd 12, Dripping Springs, TX 78620).
