He is survived by : his grandson Jim; his wife Margie Simmons of Dripping Springs; his children, Jim Bob Simmons III of Houston, TX., Nichole Simmons-Bonnett of Dripping Springs, TX. and Aaron Simmons of Buda, TX.; and his siblings, Rick Simmons and Vicki Ramirez. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
