She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Atkinson and Mary Elizabeth Atkinson; her husband Charles E. Kowing; and her daughter-in-law Linda Sue Kowing. She is survived by: her sons, Charles Gregory Kowing of Dumas, David Alden Kowing (Cheryl) of Arvada and Douglas Edward Kowing (Millie) of Dumas; and her sister Sudie Mayes of Recklaw. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, and ten great-great grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Friday, September 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Highland Cemetery.
