She was predeceased by: her parents, Volney Guy Thornton and Annie Augusta Winkler Thornton; her husband Donald W. Reed; and her brother Charles Guy Thornton. She is survived by: her children, Debbie Bowling (Louis), Becky Pohlen and Steve Reed (Jean). She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
