He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruby Cormier and Louis Cormier; his siblings, Archie, Frank Cormier and Cecille; his siblings-in-law, Donald Deshotel, Mary Jo, Betty, Charlene Cormier, Peter and Laurence; and his granddaughter Beatrice Cormier.

He is survived by: his wife Frances Mary; his former spouse British Guiana; his children, James Cormier, Philip Cormier (Kimberly), Brian Cormier (Tandra) and Alissa Allen (Trey); his grandchildren, Aidan, Cyrus Cormier, Lily, Olivia Cormier, Sydney, Jack and Andrew Allen; and his brothers, Murphy Cormier, Pat Cormier (Linda) and Terry Cormier (Claudia). He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, and many loyal friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM and from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holy Spirit Catholic Church (1111 W Danieldale Rd, Duncanville, TX 75137). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery (2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, TX 75211).
