He was loved and cherished by many people including : his brother-in-law Julian C. Barrientes; his parents, Agustin C. Briseno and Felicita H. Briseno; his wife Eulalia B. Briseno; his son Ricardo Briseno; his siblings, Rumulda B. Barrera and Jose Briseno Sr.; his children, Janie Weldon, Paul Weldon, Leticia Calderon, Bill Calderon, Hipolito Briseno Jr. and Yessenia Mwaniki; and his grandfather Catfish. He was also cherished by seven grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
