She was predeceased by : her parents, Earl Hampton and Gladys Hampton (Ellis); her husband Darrell Sawyer; her brother Travis Hampton; and her nephew Travis Hampton, Jr..

She is survived by : her son Cary Don Sawyer (Monica) of Lubbock; her sister Carolyn Watts of Dimmitt; her grandchildren, Ryan Brown (Brooke) and Justin Brown (Stefanie); and her great grandchildren, Brady, Cooper, Boston, Berkley, Preslee and Ryder.

The family suggest memorials be made to the First Baptist Church PO Box 690 Earth, Texas 79031.
