She was predeceased by: her parents, Marcus Hurst and Dora Rowland Hurst; and her siblings, Lucy Butler, Doris Phillips and Gene Hurst.
She is survived by: her husband Leonard Somer; her son Mark Somer (Kim) of East Bernard; her grandson Bryce Somer; and her siblings, Jan Daenen of Vidor, Helen Rushing of Columbus, MS, Donnie Hurst of Memphis, TN, Andrew Hurst of Joelton, TN and Alfred Hurst of Jackson, TN.
