“Yolanda and I grew up in Refugio,Texas. She was my lifelong best friend. When she moved to Ganado with her family, we were both so heartbroken but yet we always told each other we would keep in touch. We had lost touch for a few years and had just reconnected hoping to see each other again. We had spoken over the phone and caught up, sharing pictures of our families and our memories of our childhood. She loved and adored her family. Rest in peace my sweet friend.
