It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maxine Stokes Morgan (Eastland, Texas), born in Abilene, Texas, who passed away on October 10, 2018, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by : her parents, Herbert Emery and Ruby Lou Stokes (Hunter); her spouse Charles Sherman Morgan; her children, Richard Morgan of Lake Cisco, Susan Palmer (Ron) of Lake Cisco and Gregory Morgan of Abilene; her sister Jeanne Gordon (Robert) of Springfield, Ill.; her grandchildren, Janese Massey (Stephen) of Fort Worth and Morgan Palmer of Mercer Island, Wash.; and her great grandchild Truman Massey. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be made to Taylor Jones Humane Society in Abilene.
