She was predeceased by : her father Juan Abrego; her brothers, Eleazar Abrego and Fidel Abrego; her nephew Joel Anaya; her granddaughter Ashley K. Huizar; and her son-in-law Pete Garcia.
She is survived by : her children, Lisa Ann Cordova (Francisco), Julie Ann Abrego (Jorge), Laura Ann Gutierrez (Alex), Emily Ann Villarreal Garcia and Jorge Homero Villarreal Jr. (Dulce); her mother Juana Paz Abrego; and her siblings, Ricardo Garza, Lucia Anaya, Santiago Abrego, Eliseo Abrego, Juan Abrego Jr., Rick Abrego, Martin Abrego, Joe Abrego, Maria Hilda Anaya Vandeveer, Melida "Tom" Abrego, Vickey Lynn Abrego and Lucy Ann Foss. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren.
