He is survived by: his daughters, Priscilla Mendiola and Sarah Rodriguez; his grandchildren, Priscilla Y. Morales, Jose A. Morales Jr. and Alejandro D. Esqueda; his great grandchild Vayda R. Puente; and his siblings, Esperanza Martinez, Gilberto Rodriguez, Raquel Salazar, David Rodriguez, Simona Salazar and Hector Rodriguez. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Legacy Chapels (4610 S Jackson Rd, Edinburg, TX 78539). A prayer was held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Palm Valley Memorial Gardens (4607 N Sugar Rd, Pharr, TX 78577).
