She was predeceased by: her husband Juan Villarreal; her parents, Fidel Vela and Guadalupe Saenz; and her brothers, Hector Vela (Joe) and Efrain Vela.
She is survived by: her daughters, Elizabeth Arredondo (Alex) and Christina Flores (Jessie); her grandchildren, Azriel Arredondo (Lynn), Zayed Arredondo, Aaron Villarreal (America), Gabriela Flores, Karyssa Flores, Kaylee Flores and Austin Flores; her great grandchildren, Arabella Villarreal, Alaina Grace Villarreal, Avery Villarreal and Carter Arredondo; and her brother Edgar Vela. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Legacy Chapels (4610 S Jackson Rd, Edinburg, TX 78539). A prayer was held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Valley Memorial Gardens (3605 N Taylor Rd, Mission, TX 78573).
