Federico Garza Sr. Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Federico Garza Sr. (Edinburg, Texas), who passed away on July 12, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Luis Garza and Tereza Ramos; his son Hector Hugo Garza; and his siblings, Roberto Garza and Hortencia Garza.
He is survived by: his wife Guadalupe Garza; his children, Maricela Salinas (Antonio), Maribel, Federico Garza Jr. (Laura) and Jose Luis Garza (Nora); and his siblings, Hortencio Garza, Amelia Garza, Zenaido Garza, Olivia Garza, Maria G. Garza, Rosa Salinas and Maria L. Galindo-Garza. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Legacy Chapels (4610 S Jackson Rd, Edinburg, TX 78539). A rosary was held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hillcrest Memorial Park (1701 E Richardson Rd, Edinburg, TX 78541).
