With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Javier Alexander Sanchez-Flores (Edinburg, Texas), who passed away on January 9, 2026 at the age of 13. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Javier leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He is survived by: his parents, Cristian Sanchez and Jessica Sanchez; his siblings, Valentin and Ailany Sanchez-Flores; and his grandparents, Armando, Mari Lou Flores, Javier Ibarra and Magdalena Sanchez. He is also survived by numerous uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.
Viewing will be held on Wednesday, January 14th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Legacy Chapels (4610 S Jackson Rd, Edinburg, TX 78539). A prayer will be held on Wednesday, January 14th 2026 from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 15th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
