With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jose Adolfo Villarreal (Edinburg, Texas), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 11, 2026 at the age of 83. He was predeceased by: his parents, Eustolio Villarreal and Josefa DeLeon; his sons, Jose Adolfo Villarreal Jr. and Alejandro Villarreal; and his siblings, Orfilina Villarreal and Armando Villarreal.
He is survived by: his wife Adelina Perez Villarreal; his children, Carolina Santiago (Javier), Sonya Sanchez (Jacob), Elizabeth Ramirez, Branda Sellman (Craig), Alejandra Luna (Margarito) and Amanda Saenz (Eric); and his siblings, Arnoldo Villarreal, Anna Maria Guerra, Arminda Salazar, Idolina O'Connell and Eustolio Villarreal Jr.. He is also survived by eighteen grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 18th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Legacy Chapels (4610 S Jackson Rd, Edinburg, TX 78539). A prayer will be held on Monday, May 18th 2026 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location.
