He was predeceased by: his parents, Heriberto Casas and Paula Garza Casas; his sister Hilda Casas Trevino; and his brothers-in-law, Miguel Ramirez and Domingo Trevino.
He is survived by: his wife Emma Casas; his children, Juan Manuel "J. M." Casas (Celina), Arcadio Eloy Casas (Barbara) and Valeria Marlene Casas-Melendez (Eduardo Javier "E. J."); his granddaughter Zoe Maree Casas; and his siblings, Alicia Ramirez, Ramiro Casas (Margarita), Heriberto Casas, Jr. and Rogelio "Roy" Casas (Dora Elva).
