With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lila Olivarez of Edinburg, Texas, who passed away on July 21, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Eduardo Villarreal and Macaria Solis Villarreal; her husband Zacarias Olivarez, III; and her siblings, Servando Villarreal, Eduardo "Wally" Villarreal, Soccoro Trevino and Zoila Longoria.
She is survived by: her children, Edna Luna (Armando), Zacarias Olivarez, IV (Sara) and Rick Olivarez (Roxanne Pena); her grandchildren, Lori Alvarado (Rogelio), Rachel Olivarez, Zacarias "Zack" Olivarez, Gizelle Olivarez, Gianna Olivarez and Alasandra "Nikkie" Flores (Alfonso); and her great grandchildren, Mia Ann Alvarado of Rogelio, Orion Corkill, Corline Corkill, Aliana Flores and Alejandro Flores. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
