She was predeceased by: her parents, Milton York Tate, Sr. and Miriam McGregor Tate (Phillips); her stepmother Elner Hempel Tate (Neal); her siblings, Eola Nell Alspaw (Ivan) and James Tate (Linda); and her brothers-in-law, Royce Namken (Mildred) and Calvin Namken (Emily).
She is survived by: her children, Sandy Mooney (Frank X.) of Friendswood, Shana Lazarine (Cliff) of Allen and James Namken (Hope) of Houston; her granddaughter Miriam Mooney Martin (Austin) of Canberra, Australia; her great grandchildren, Lorelei Mae and Sebastian Xavier Martin; and her brother Milton Y. Tate (Twila) of Brenham. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
